The Peggy Karr Winter Garden 8-Inch Plate is both beautiful and practical, perfect for entertaining or as a stand-alone piece of art. The design, a burst of red and white winter blooms - poinsettia, amaryllis and holiday cactus, is embedded within the glass, not applied to its surface. Using complex stencils, powdered pigments are hand-applied between two layers of glass and fired at over 1500 F degrees, fusing the glass and pigments together and permanently sealing in the design. The result is a beautiful, food-safe dish that is microwave- and dishwasher-safe, great for all occasions. Each piece has a unique character of bubbles and surface texture. Peggy Karr patterns are collectible and coordinate with other products in the collection. Please note that harsh detergents and hard water may cause clouding.
